Privacy policy

VERIX is a trade name owned by THEPINEAPPLE CORPORATION, S.L., the entity responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website (verix.es) and through the communications associated with that brand. This policy explains how that data is processed, in particular the data submitted through the VERIX early-access ("waitlist") form, in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spanish data protection law (LOPD-GDD).

2. What data we collect

Through the early-access ("waitlist") form we collect: name or company name, email address, phone number (optional), and whether you're signing up as a company or a freelancer.

We also record the evidence of your consent: the date and time you gave it, the IP address you gave it from, and the exact wording shown to you next to each checkbox. We keep this because Article 7.1 GDPR requires us to be able to demonstrate what you consented to, not merely that you consented.

We only use analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you don't, no analytics script is loaded and no data is sent to any third party. See the Cookie Policy for the details.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data for two separate and independent purposes, each with its own checkbox on the form:

The two are independent: you can join the waitlist without accepting commercial communications, and you can withdraw your consent to commercial communications at any time without affecting your access request or the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

4. Recipients and data processors

We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We rely on providers acting as data processors to deliver this service: infrastructure and storage on Amazon Web Services (eu-west-1 region, Ireland, within the European Economic Area) and the provider used to send access-notification emails. No international transfers outside the EEA take place.

5. Retention period

We keep the early-access data for as long as the process is ongoing and, at most, for 24 months from your registration, or until you withdraw your consent, whichever happens first.

If you accepted commercial communications, we keep your data for that purpose until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. After you unsubscribe we retain only the record that you objected and when, so we can evidence that the objection was honoured and never write to you again.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to dpo@verix.es, stating your name and the email you registered with. We will respond within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

To stop receiving commercial communications you don't need to write to us: every such email includes an unsubscribe link you can use at any time, simply and free of charge.

7. If you become a VERIX customer

This policy only covers the data collected by this website prior to your sign-up. Once your company is onboarded onto the VERIX platform, the processing of the data you add to the ERP (invoicing, accounting, HR, banking, etc.) is governed by the VERIX application Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy in response to regulatory or operational changes. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
